Vanness Wu Back With Ex Arissa?

Guess you can't forget your old love that easily.

Vanness Wu dated Singaporean girlfriend Arissa Cheo in 2006 but the two broke up after a year. Then the "Autumn Concerto" star openly announced getting back with his ex this April. However, the 'AV' (Arissa-Vanness)-love ended again and Vanness wasn't willing to confirm the reason for the split.

Although Vanness told the media that he only wants to focus at his career at the moment, but yesterday he was spotted at an airport in Taiwan with Arissa. The couple arrived Taiwan from Hong Kong and walked out from the gate together. They kept a distance from each other to avoid attention. But fans still recognized the actor and he stopped to chat and take pictures with them.

Then Vanness got on the car Arissa was in and they drove to his house in Keelung, Taiwan. Arissa was still keeping a distance from her boyfriend after she got off the car. The couple then went into the house together.

The singer's manager Katie didn't confirm whether the he's back with his ex again, only saying they're still good friends. Perhaps to avoid media attention, this time Vanness decides not to make his relationship public to protect his privacy.

Vanness Wu Gives Up Hollywood For Idol Drama

The actor is willing to give up his chance to film Hollywood films for idol drama "Material Queen" (rough translation for 拜金女王).

Yesterday Vanness Wu was filming upcoming idol drama "Material Queen" with Lynn Xiong in a vegetable market. The F4 member disclosed he was arranged to film an action film with Hollywood actor Russell Crowe in January, but be declined this great opportunity to break into Hollywood because he still has to film "Material Queen."

But the "Autumn Concerto" star still has time to make his way to Hollywood. He disclosed after filming "Material Queen," he will temporarily say goodbye to the TV industry and focus in the film industry.

Vanness Wu Injured on the Head

Certainly not a good day for Vanness Wu.

The "Autumn Concerto" star was filming a glasses commercial yesterday. Theme of the commercial stresses on man power so Vanness was arranged to drum and his drum sticks were wrapped with crushed stones. Some of them bounced to his head while he was drumming, resulting in a 3-cm long laceration on his head.

The singer went to a small clinic to stop the bleeding from the wound. The doctor expressed they must shave off some of his hair first. His manager immediately asked a professional hairstylist to cut off a handful of hair near the wound, preventing the singer's idol image to fall apart.

Vanness returned to the filming set after treatment and went to the doctors again after work. Doctor said no need to sew up the wound and advised him not to have heavy workouts the next few days.

It was actually fine the first time when the F4 member filmed this scene. But the director hoped for a better result so he had re-film it, which caused yesterday's little accident to happen.

Vanness Wu Thanks God For Cutting Bed Scenes in New Drama

Because of his religion, Vanness Wu always tries to avoid having bed scenes in dramas. Originally he has to shoot a bed scene with Lynn Xiong in Paris for new drama "Material Queen" (拜金女王), but because of cold weather, the bed scene was replaced with an intimate kissing scene, making Vanness relieved. "Really have to thank God," he said.

He broke up with girlfriend Arissa before going to Paris, and yesterday he talked about his feelings the first time. He said his mood is adjusted : "Whether it's love or career, it's the strength from God. I would face both good and bad things." It's rumored his ex found a new boyfriend and the two broke up because of sex. Vanness once again thanked God but avoided the topic.

First time collaborating with Lynn Xiong, Vanness praised she is cute: "Her personality is different than what you think it is by her appearance. She's like a child, easy to get along with." Because Lynn is 179CM tall, when she shoots scenes with Vanness, she would take off her high heels. Vanness joked: "Director wants me to stand on a wood box, but I refused."

Golden Bell awards ceremony is on Friday but because he has to perform in Singapore, Vanness can't attend to the awards. Good friend Chen Hui Lin is competing "Best Director" and female lead of "The Year of Rain," a drama he worked as a producer, is nominated "Best Actress." Vanness expressed his support to them: "Go pick up the award, of course they need to win."
