Bowie Lam Hints Sammul Chan's Actions are Pointless

Although Bowie Lam and TVB's contract ended already, but he still attended to their drama event yesterday. He expressed he has a good relationship with TVB. Although they are not related by contract anymore, but if there are suitable jobs, TVB would still invite him to attend. Bowie expressed money and fame are not the factors why he didn't renew his contract.

"I've been in TVB for more than 20 years. I was in a rush the last time Virginia Lok asked me to renew. This time I calmed down and thought about it more. Maybe a year later I would sign a new contract."

Talking about earning extra in Mainland, Bowie admitted many management companies and crews are inviting him to join; but right now, he doesn't want to sign a management contract: "If there are right dramas, I would film them. Because I'm the Asian TV King, I have market in Mainland, South East Asia, and even North America."

Asked whether he would appear in Cable TV or ATV's shows, Bowie appeared to be teasing Sammul Chan: "Depends on the content. If it's to declare one's sovereignty, it's pointless."

Bosco Wong Denies Having More Scenes Than Michael Tse

From a recent trailer of new drama "Lives of Omission," it appears Bosco Wong might have more scenes than main lead Michael Tse. However, Bosco denied he is getting more scenes.

"Just rumors. In fact, we have about the same amount of scenes. I didn't appear until episode 2. Our parts are not edited. We've been following the original scripts."

Supposedly a spin-off drama featuring the character Laughing Gor from 2009 drama "E.U.," Bosco stressed Michael, who plays Laughing, is the soul of the drama. He doesn't think he is being heavily promoted by TVB because many good leads are leaving the company.

"Other actors like Michael and Ron Ng are being promoted as well. If we are in a company, they would try to give opportunities to every one of us."

Sammul Chan Doesn't Rule Out Future Collaboration With ATV

Sammul Chan went to ATV yesterday and met the company's high executives. Asked whether he talked about signing contracts with them, he said: "No. I'm just touring and meeting their people, including the producers, see if we have anything we can collaborate on. (Not afraid being boycott by TVB?) No such thing. The premise is going to a right direction.

ATV's high executive expressed they are inviting Sammul to attend to their anniversary events and star in their drama. As for this, Sammul said: "They did invite me. Depends on the schedule, but I should be in Mainland filming by then. (Now supporting ATV?) Not like that. For us, work is more important. I'm willing to do it if people invite me. In fact, I've been to TVB's anniversary events for many years. I want to experience ATV's, Cable TV's, and even Phoenix's. (Not afraid to be the victim?) It's a different generation now. I'm not afraid."

Sammul said this won't ruin his collaboration with TVB; plus it's something that would happen next year. He will be absent from future promotions of his drama "Relic of an Emissary."

After Cecilia Cheung saw her husband Nicholas Tse won "Best Actor" at last night's Hong Kong Film Awards, she also went to the celebration event with him. But she stayed in the car and waited for Nicholas to return. She disclosed in an interview that she didn't hear her husband thank her on stage, but she heard Carina Lau sweetly thanking her husband. She said: "I told him I was kinda mad. I won 'Best Actress' at 23 from the 23rd HK Film Awards. He won 'Best Actor' at 30 from the 30th HK Film Awards. What a coincidence. Of course I want to win the awards with him."

Asked whether she heard Nicholas expressed his feelings towards his dad like he did on stage, Cecilia said: "They only know how to pose. They rarely talk. Their sunglasses like glued on their faces." She thanked Chow Yun-fat for supporting Nicholas: "Chow is always the best actor in my heart. His praises to my husband touch me and make us very happy."

Cecilia said she is working on having babies again: "I really want another son to be with my two sons. Then another daughter. I want four kids at least. (What did you give Nicholas as a congratulation present?) I told him to give me something if he wins. There are two designer stores near by the arena. I was hinting, but he said, 'You said those, but I didn't promise.' Haha!"

Nicholas Tse & Carina Lau Crown 'Best Actor' & 'Best Actress'

Sunday night must be unforgettable for Nicholas Tse and Carina Lau.

The 30th Hong Kong Film Awards was held last night (HK time) and it was broadcast by ATV. Nicholas Tse beat his seniors including Chow Yun-fat and Tony Leung Kar-fai and crowned "Best Actor" with "Stool Pigeon." Wife Cecilia Cheung was emotional when she heard her husband won the award. While giving his acceptance speech, Nicholas thanked his father Patrick Tse.

"When I won 'Best Newcomer' at 18, I brought my award home and told my dad, 'You said you filmed hundres of dramas and films, but have you ever won a HK Film Award?' I know he is watching it tonight. I hope he forgives the impolite kid 12 years ago. Dad, you're the real 'Best Actor'!"

Nominated "Best Actress" 5 times already, Carina Lau finally won her first HK Film Awards "Best Actress." She calmly accepted the award on stage and happily gave her thank-you speech, thanking her husband especially.

"I'm happy to be nominated, but I'm used to losing every time I saw others win it. I was very calm in the beginning, but now I have this, I feel very excited and happy. It can be very happy actually! Haha! I really thank Tsui Hark for casting me to play Wu Zetian. And Andy Lau, Li Bin Bin and Deng Chao. They are very serious during filming. Also to my mom and husband (Tony Leung). He sent many messages to me today. I thank him for letting me do things I like to do these years. I know I could never catch up with you (Tony is a 5-time Best Actor winner), but I will slowly."

The climax at the award yesterday was when Chow Yun-fat talked on stage. As one of the "Best Actor" nominees this year, he openly supports Nicholas, praising he could be the winner tonight. Chow also teased TVB during his speech.

"I can't do this in another station, only here. The Film Awards have been doing this for 30 years. I must say a minute every year, say everything I want."

Raymond Lam Accepts It All With Pain

He drops tears again for the woman he once loved.

Since the leak of bed photos of Raymond Lam and Mavis Pan Shuang Shuang last month, there are non-stop news related to the incident. The two parties both accepted in-depth interviews to tell their side of story, but that didn't stop anything but provoked more stories to come out. Now it's even rumored there is a sex tape leak.

Originally planned to attend to the costume fitting of new drama "Return to the Three Kingdoms," Raymond was absent in the end but eventually showed up when he walked into the studio. He faced reporters reluctantly with high executive Virginia Lok, Eric Tsang, and producer of his drama by his side.

"During the period when we dated, if there is anything in any way that hurts her, even it's all just a scheme, I'm willing to accept it. She is still very young. Her future should be a good one. This whole thing already made people around us very worried. I'm so sorry!"

While he talked about his past relationship with Mavis, Raymond started to get teary. He said he thought of calling her, but didn't think it's a right time to do so. They are both emotionally affected and he "is in deep pain" right now.

Asked about a clip that is suspicious of being a sex tape with his voice in it, Raymond just sighed and expressed he is focusing on his career right now; it's his top priority. Whether he worries more would leak, he is helpless about it and said that's all he can say for now.

Myolie Wu: Bosco is Only a Friend

It's said Bosco Wong hooked up with his assistant during filming, angering girlfriend Myolie Wu. Myolie attended to an award ceremony and denied it, and said: "They always write those things. I just treat them like stories. No need to be serious!" Whether she's supporting Bosco? She tried to avoid the topic: "I don't want to talk about him all the time!" She can only use "friends" to describe her relationship with Bosco. As for Bosco already admitted they are dating, she said: "No such thing. You go ask him!"

Bosco cleared up having an ambigeous relationship with his assistant. Asked whether filming with Myolie enhances their relationship, he said: "You see each other a lot, got bored of it. Then we faced each other again that several months. Actually we can always change partners." Reporters joked it would be hard for him to be with Myolie forever, and he said: "You can change partners at work, but not for girlfriend. Actually it's pretty happy if you can be with her at work."

Leon Lai Transforms Janice Man & Janice Vidal into Sexy Ladies

Mark Lui fights with Janice Vidal
Leon Lai invested HKD$3 million to the 3D MV of new song "See You Later" (遲D見). In this expensive MV, his two ladies in the company, Janice Man (JM) and Janice Vidal, look stunningly hot with the help of technology. Their heads are keyed with bodies with big busts and even Janice's round face is "fixed" a little in order to look nice.

The hottest scene in the MV is when JM takes off her bra and panties. Her boss Leon then cuts her bra and burns her panties. The part where the peacock JM is sitting on Leon's shoulders is quite bold.

Leon expressed he started to plan for this MV since last June and spent 9 months to finish it. He admitted coming up with those bold ideas, such as throwing bras and panties.

"It's nothing disgusting, just healthy sexy."

Ronald Cheng Confirms Girlfriend is Pregnant

Ronald Cheng is a dad-to-be!

The pregnancy rumor of the singer's girlfriend Sammie Yu has been out for a while now but it had yet been confirmed. Even when Ronald was asked about it recently, he still didn't say anything. However, yesterday he released a short statement, confirming he is welcoming a child.

"Thank you all for your concerns and reports about me and girlfriend Sammi Yu lately. To avoid tiring everyone, now I confirmed this through my management company: my girlfriend is indeed pregnant. I hope after I confirmed this, I can receive respect and understanding from all media. Please give me, Sammie, and our family some personal space. We will definitely share more happy news with you in the future. Thank you for your concerns!"

It's known the 39-year-old is trying to protect his 4-months-pregnant girlfriend, and that's why he decided to release this statement. Plus the rumors are already out, if he doesn't say anything about it, it's not fair to her.
